Frances Rowley Beaumont  
Dip COT, Cert ED  works in a variety of media incorporating different senses - combining colour, sound and movement. 

​

Her first training was in Occupational Therapy where she learnt traditional craft techniques including textiles  and basketry which she sometimes uses in her work.

 Her second training, at the age of 24 as a 'mature Student '  was in teaching Art and English  at Brighton College of Education where she began her experiments with  installations using movement , light and sound . 


Frances has worked professionally as an Occupational Therapist  and art teacher all her life , as well as  developing her own creative work in painting and sculpture,  and in the past few years been experimenting with making  glass  water features for the garden .  
 
She has written short stories, poetry and is now writing a biography  about a friend John Oliver , called "The Extraordinary Life Of John Oliver". Head over to  Ojoliverbook.org for more information.  


Frances works from home and  her garden studio in Faversham, Kent, UK.

She has a daughter Tamsin Peach, a son Joss Peach,  and two lovely granddaughters Poppy and Laurel.

​She welcomes people to her home through Airbnb.
